Apple announced today a new, higher-capacity version of the fourth-generation iPad with Retina display. The device, which will become available in the States next week, ups the storage for the fourth-gen iPad from 64GB to a maximum of 128GB.
Like its less well-endowed brethren the 128GB iPad will feature a 9.7″ Retina display, Apple’s A6X chip and it will have iOS 6.1 installed from day one.The 128GB iPad will be available in WiFi-only (with a recommended retail price of $799) and WiFi + Cellular models (RRP of $929).
The device will be launching next week on 5 February and will be available from Apple’s online store, the company’s retail outlets and some selected resellers.
