Apple, the tech behemoth, has filed for trademark rights for ‘iWatch’ in Japan, just as Samsung is starting to get its own wearable smartphone device ready.
The company that has brought us nearly iEverything in terms of have-to-have gadgets seems to have jumped on the smartwatch bandwagon as well, even as early as from February 2013.
According to people familiar with the company’s plans Apple supposedly has a team of about 100 product designers working on a wristwatch-like device that may perform tasks similar to that of the iPhone or iPad.
