Blizzard isn’t really known for its mobile gaming presence, but it seems that it has developed the right game to approach the mobile gaming market.

Blizzard’s take on a trading card game, called Hearthstone, is based on the WarCraft universe, is free-to-play and rather addictive if the activity around Stuff Towers is any indication. So far the game has only been available on PC, as per Blizzard’s usual run of games, but has been rolled out on certain iTunes stores as an iPad app in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, with worldwide release sure to follow.

If you have been playing the game, you’ll be glad to know that the mobile app syncs to your account, so you keep your decks and hit the ground running.
