A specification sheet for what is apparently a BlackBerry handset, called the Aristo, have leaked to Rapidberry and the details show a phone that could go head to head with the best of the current crop.
For starters, the unconfirmed phone will feature a Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait Quad Core 1.5GHz processor along with 2GB of RAM. The display will be a 4.65″ OLED 1280 x 720 screen and it will feature 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for some extra space. A 2800mAh battery will be sealed into the handset, which is unsurprising given its thickness. The phone’s dimensions measure 68 x 136 x 8.85 mm.
The handset is supposed to carry four microphones with Noise Reduction and, judging by the spec sheet (above) it will support just about every connectivity option you can think of. 8 megapixel/2 megapixel rear and front cameras round out the features.
There is speculation that the Aristo name marks an unannounced and previously unseen A-series of handsets from RIM to go along with the N and L series phones. If this leak is correct it is just as possible that the device is a one-off from RIM.
