Amazon’s upcoming Kindle Fire HD redesign isn’t much of a secret at the moment. Images of the revamped device have shown up online, captured first by website BGR.
Aside from the more angular design seen in the images of Amazon’s new tablet, there is a fair amount known about the 7-inch device. It will feature a Snapdragon 800 processor (running at 2GHz or more), 2GB of RAM and either 16, 32, or 64GB of internal storage. The 7-inch Kindle Fire HD will play host to a 1,920 x 1,200 display but there is a 2,560 x 1,600 display on the cards for the 8.9-inch version of the device. Aside from an 8MP rear camera, the specs for the 8.9-inch tablet are thought to be very similar to its smaller sibling.
