Last month photo-sharing app Instagram passed 27 million users and revealed that the formerly iOS-only app was going to be making the jump to Android devices. That day has arrived, with Instagram now available on the Google Play store. Free, of course.

The Android app offers an extremely familiar Instagram experience when compared to the iOS app. You’ll find all the same exact filters and community as our iOS version.”
In less than a month Instagram has picked up another 3 million users, rounding the userbase up to a cool 30 million. With the Android release that number is set to grow substantially.
