Yesterday LaCie, the premium brand of Seagate Technology, unveiled the 5TB, 7200 rpm capabilities of their Thunderbolt External HD series. The Thunderbolt series includes hard drives that range from 5TB single drives, to pleasantly enormous 25TB RAID monsters.
According to the company’s website, the Thunderbolt series is aimed at providing storage solutions for film and photography professionals, but we’re pretty sure that pretty much anyone would enjoy the voluminous space the new HD range offers.
