Lumu Labs are currently developing a new light meter, specifically aimed for the mobile generation called…the Lumu. The folks at Lumu Labs promise that their light meter will provide the best measurements currently available for any hardware made specifically for mobile phones.
It’s a lightweight and sturdy plugin meter which comes with an app that also allows you to use it conjunction with all the iPhone’s features, like saving data to cloud, making notes and so on. It’s compatible with any iOS 5.0 and newer device, but there is no Android support planned yet.
Currently under development following an ongoing but successful Kickstarter campaign, it should cost you about R1530 once it becomes available in October this year. There are still 18 days left to contribute to the Lumu’s Kickstarter.
