Yesterday NVIDIA’S ceo Jen-Hsun Huang announced the company’s latest and greatest GPU, the GeForce GTX Titan Z, at the 2014 GPU Technology Conference.
Apparently it will outperform the company’s Titan Black without breaking much of a sweat, as the latest Titan packs dual Kepler GPUs specifically designed to give effective power and performance output. The best part is that the Titan Z can run the latest graphics intensive games at up to 5K resolution, and on multiple monitors to boot, thanks to its 12 GB dedicated memory.
Unfortunately we don’t know much about the Titan Z yet, but the pricetag is known, and it’s a whopper at R32 200. And that’s without an import markup.
Huang compares the Titan Z’s performance to that of a supercomputer and, based on the little hardware info we do have, it seems that he may have it spot on.
