Microsoft has launched a new promotional offer for their subscription-based Office 365 product, giving away a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live to any subscriber who signs up for a 12 month period of Office 365.

The offer is running until 28 September this year and will see those signing up for 12 months on either Office 365 Home Premium or Office 365 University getting a code from Microsoft which can be redeemed for a year’s subscription on Xbox Live. The promotion is running in several places around the world and, for a change, South Africa is included.

The Xbox Live code will be sent to users before 31 October this year but it will only be sent to subscribers who activate their 12-month subscriptions. Just keep in mind that signing up for the monthly subscription won’t make you eligible for Microsoft’s offer, they’re looking for a more… long-term relationship before parting with gifts.
