Samsung may not have officially announced a Galaxy S III yet but the phone is rumoured to be the “official device” of the 2012 Olympic Games.
According to an unconfirmed report from BGR Samsung will be unveil the handset in London as a result of the sponsorship, with the possibility of simultaneous launches in New York, Seoul and Dubai. Samsung is an official sponsor of the Olympic Games so the tie-in is a possibility.
BGR has reported that the Galaxy S III will ship with two colour options, one blue/black and the other white, with 16GB and 32GB variants available. Other specs reportedly include a 1080p HD screen, quad-core Exynos CPU and 4G LTE.
Samsung has declined to comment on the report, saying that they do not comment on rumours and speculation.
