The latest sales tally to emerge from Samsung puts the Galaxy S III handset at over 10 million units sold, according to the company. Thi is made all the more impressive when you consider that the Android handset hit this milestone in the space of two months.
Shin Jong-kyun, president of Samsung’s information technology and mobile communication division, revealed this information on Sunday during an interview with the Yonhap News Agency.
Jong-kyun also reportedly believes that sales of the handset could go over 40 million units sold, setting a record for Samsung. Judging by the reviews that the phone has been receiving, hitting this target is within the South Korean company’s reach.
