Digital distribution platform Steam has announced the latest batch of games to be greenlit in their Steam Greenlight program. While there are some good titles there, including Deadly Premonition, Stuff is primarily interested in one game.

The title, called Broforce, is a South African-made multiplayer platform shooter which involves “…being awesome action heroes from the 80s and 90s while slaying satanic terrorists and aliens while unraveling an evil plot to destroy the planet while dealing with being awesome action heroes from the 80s and 90s.”

In the process of getting the game approved for Steam, developers Free Lives have spawned a whole lot of bro-related puns. The reason for this is seen in the gameplay for the title. Sort of. Gaming website Eurogamer has got around 15 minutes of footage from the game (embedded below) or local gamers can check out the currently-free brototype. Free Lives are also hosting an older demo for the game in downloadable form.
